Coloured lights
Chasing round the roofline
Twinkle tour

Slowly Monday
Brushed with gentle light
Begins

Beneath the chaos
Of raging winds and branches
Peace in the forest

Empty moon
Poured into
Scarlet sky

First tracks
Deer’s dotted lines
In the soft snow

Tangled trails
A labyrinth
Unwinding

As darkness fades
Great horned silhouette
Scanning the field
