Its winding dips and climbs
Quick feet in the flow

Running fox
Silhouette on the snow
Vanishes

Running off script
Drop into the margins
Find living water

Draped in white
Lighting the darkness
Silence has found me

North-west biting wind
Runner takes on that beast
To run easy homeward

Sandy hills
Scarred by vicious fire
Burning in my legs

Deer glides through the snow
Broad-foot hare floats atop it
Each in its own way
