Three deer
In the snow light
Scatter

Following my thoughts
Almond-shaped tracks in the snow
Leading to their source

Crisp air
Crackling
Starlight

On soaring wings
Bald eagle scanning
The silent forest

Sparkling snow
Old world made new
Again

Deer, hare, mouse
Collecting tales
For the breakfast club
