Blue moonlit shadows

Silence before dawn

The whispering wind
Comes to the quiet forest
And begins to roar

Cold wintery wind
Carries a new bird’s song
Through the clear blue sky

How silently
The round and golden moon
Dips below the sky

Furious spring wind
Two geese stand as silhouettes
Calm on the water

Bright shooting star
Cross the invisible line
Between night and dawn

Thick, moody sky
Hush the world like a blanket
Wait for daylight

Lion’s roaring wind
Trash pinned against the fence
Spring comes violently
