Sleepy neighbourhood
Saving daylight

The warm sun rises
Announcing the slow
End of winter

The old plaque obscured
The path ahead covered
Snow suspending time

Morning commuters
Scraping ice off the windshield
Before leaving home

Coach don’t care ’bout
Snow depth or speed of wind Just keep running

Fresh March snow
Wind-swept and drifted
