Dewdrops cling to head-high grass
Glist’ning in the sun

Scramble down the trail
Entire being focused
On each next step

Late morning trails
Smell of freshly-cleaned fish
On my hands

Type 2 fun requires
Full breaths of forest air
Cool blue lake finish

Fast, nimble feet
Hopping from rock to root
Water down the trail

Following the scent
Tired tongues flagging
